Linda Santopietro Obituary

HUNTINGTON – Linda W. (Standridge) Santopietro, 67, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015.

Born March 19, 1947, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Standridge and Ruth (Williams) Standridge. She moved to Huntington, in 1995 coming from Longmeadow. She attended the Lynwood Adventist Academy in Lynwood, California. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of California Los Angeles and was a graduate of Harvard Law School.

Prior to moving to New England, she had been a pharmaceutical industry lawyer in New Jersey. She was a member of Norwich Hill Congregational Church in Huntington, a member of the Red Hat Society and the Cat Fanciers Association.

She leaves her husband of 40 years, Albert R. Santopietro; a son Spencer W. Santopietro of Mountain View, California; two daughters, Hope E. Perry of Umea, Sweden, and Anna S. Vieira and husband Pedro of Cumberland, Rhode Island; a brother Roger Standridge of Woodlake Village, California; half-sisters Wendy Doeh of Hermosa Beach, California, and Shirley Chaffin of Lincoln, Nebraska; and four grandchildren, Calvin, Lydia, Bella and Eva.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at the Norwich Hill Congregational Church, Searle Road, Huntington. Calling hours will precede the funeral service at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Central New England Region, 59 Bobala Road, Holyoke, MA 01040.

O'Brien Hilltown Community Funeral Home in Huntington, is in charge of the arrangements.
