Danny Garcia Obituary

Danny Joe Garcia April 3, 1961 – March 26, 2011 Danny Joe Garcia, age 49, of Denver, CO met his Heavenly Father on March 26, 2011 as he peacefully passed away at the University of Colorado Science and Medical Center, after a long, hard fought battle with diabetic complications and other unfortunate medical hardships. Dan was born in Grants, New Mexico to Jose and Maida Garcia. His childhood was spent in Center, CO and his teenage years in Basalt, CO. As an adult, he completed training as a rehab and wound care therapist in Walla Walla, WA. While living in Grand Junction, he was employed by Rocky Mountain Nurses Association and Columbine Nurses before becoming disabled. At the time of Dan's untimely death, he was residing in Denver, CO. Dan is preceded in death by his father, Jose; brother, Travis and sister, Linda. Survivors include his two children, Joshua and Jasmine both from Lenexa, KS; his mother, Maida Garcia of Grand Junction; sisters, Debra Orozco of Grand Junction and Beverly Broadus of Denver. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Clifton Assembly of God Church in Clifton, CO.
