Maxine Cleo Clayton, born Maxine Cleo Chavez, passed away on July 11, 2016, in Littleton, Colorado at age 76.
She was born on March 26, 1940, in Grand Junction, Colorado, the daughter of Manuel and Jenny Chavez. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her grandkids, playing guitar and doing needle work.
She is survived by her sons, Randall Martinez, Vail, Colorado; Jerry Oviedo, Waxahachie, Texas, and daughter, Christine Oviedo, Marietta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and brother, Benjamin Chavez, California. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Chavez and Manuel Chavez Jr., and daughter, A nita Albrechtsen.
Please join us in celebration of her life on Friday at 2:00 p.m. July 22, 2016, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Junction, Colorado.
