Dear Grandpa. Sure am glad I saw you in April when we were able to visit the relatives. You had a smile on your face and I heard you laugh, even though your health wasn't what you wished. I had no idea that would be the last time I saw you. I know you now have the answers to all your questions. Enjoy the new adventure. We will leave it in God's hands when I'll see you next. Love Deenie.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Grampy,
I Will always remember the days when I was just a kid and you would come to the house on your way to take the latest harvest in. You always made time to stop and give us a taste of natures sweet bliss. Your smile and loving laugh will remain in my heart always.I will miss running into you in the grocery store, I was always on the lookout for you. But now you have gone to be with the lord and our beloved that have entered the golden gates of heaven and were waiting for you on the other side to welcome you home. Corrie says her heart hurts for you, but she knows you are smiling down on her. I love you grape grampy balone. I will see you in my dreams untill the day I come home for my next great adventure.

Dear grape grampa balone,
We remember being little girls and as such we couln't pronounce your name. So it always came out grape grampa balone. You didn't ever seem to mind in fact you thought it was really funny. Throughout the years you were always around with a hug and a smile. You always asked us how our lives were going and you were genuinely interested in hearing the answers. We loved the time we were able to spend with you, and we wish that our children could have grown up with you in their lives, for they would be better people for having gotten to know you. We are so sadend by the fact that we weren't able to say goodbye to you in person and that we aren't able to attend your funeral. But at the same time we know that you are in a better place. We just know that you are in heaven with the rest of our loved ones. You have a smile on your face and a bounce in your step. We love you so much grape granpa balone and we will truely miss you.
