Annie Wade Keen Barbour



Annie Wade Keen Barbour, 91, of Cowen Formerly of Danville passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Webster Continuous Care Center, Cowen.

She was born September 20, 2009 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia a daughter of the late John Thomas and Gracie Bailess Keen.

Annie was retired from Dan River Mills with over 36 years of service and a Baptist by faith.

Surviving are her son, Larry(Erma) Barbour, Brothers, John Keen Jr., Pate Keen, Oadie Keen, grandchildren, Christopher(Polly) Barbour, great-grandchildren, Cody, Jade, Trey and Carli Jo Barbour, Step-grandson, Keith (Bonnie) Arendall, step-grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah and Lewis Arendall.

In addition to her parents her husband, Oscar Barbour, brothers, Thomas, Clarence, Charlie, Russell and Anderson Keen, sister Ester Keen, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm. Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Highland Burial Park, Danville, Virginia.

Services are trusted in care of Morris Funeral Home.
