As his Spanish professor, I was only able to enjoy Larson for about a month, but it was long enough to realize he was a very mature kid with a great and positive attitude, and extremely polite.

Larson was a great friend of mine and I will always remember him as an honest and good person that always had a smile on his face no matter where he was. I will never forget the time I flew with Larson and his Co-pilot to Midland for Lunch so he could get some training hours in, at times I will not admit I was nervous but Larson had an unbelievable calm sense to him during the flight and needless to say our takeoff and landing were both very smooth, not to mention we had a cross-wind coming into Midland at about 80 miles an hour, even under these severe circumstances for a pilot-in-training he remained extremely calm under pressure and took us right in there and only needed very minimal assistance from the Co-Pilot. I will always remember that about him.... A genuine sense of calm and truly a great friend that I will never forget. Larson I will miss you more than you know man.
