Bradley Terpstra Obituary

Terpstra, Bradley Scott Mr. Bradley Scott Terpstra of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Brad was born to Edwin and Dixie (Powers) Terpstra on Wednesday, February 6, 1963, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Brad was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed going camping, and fishing especially, whether it be on a pure and perfect Michigan summer's day or a frigid afternoon on a lake frozen over. He was also a diehard NASCAR fan and loved listening to great music. Brad enjoyed many things in life, but the love for his family and friends was without measure. He was a loving son and husband, wonderful father, dear brother and friend. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family, many dear friends, and all those who knew him. Brad is survived by his beloved wife Michele (Egeler) and son Ryan Terpstra; parents Ed and Dixie Terpstra; sisters Rhonda Terpstra, Renee (Rich) James, and Yvette (Greg) O'Strander; brother Brett (Jenn) Terpstra; father and mother-in-law Orville and Frances Egeler; sisters and brothers-in-law Linda (Greg) Taylor, Pat Egeler, Scott Egeler, and Tom (Tracie) Egeler; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Brad will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. Pastor Brad Brillhart will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends during a time of visitation from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
