Tyler Hennes Obituary

Tyler Daniel Hennes

Stevensville —Tyler Daniel Hennes, 18, passed away on October 11, 2014 peacefully at his home after a heroic 4½ year battle with osteosarcoma.

Tyler was born on August 7, 1996 in Missoula to Josh and Jenny (Heikkila) Hennes.

Tyler was known for his dry intelligent humor that kept everyone laughing, even in the toughest times. He was a loving son, brother and friend who truly cared about the well-being of his friends and family. Even in his last days, his main concern was for others.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Josh and Jenny Hennes; his brothers, Troy and Treyton; his paternal grandparents, Randy and Dyane Hennes of Huson, Jon Tompkins and Debra Howell of Polson; maternal grandparents, Jack Heikkila of Belt and Denise Heikkila of Bonner; aunt, Davida (Jason) Vangen and uncle Ian (Rachelle) Heikkila as well as 3 cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Heikkila.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at the Stevensville High School Gym. A reception will follow at the same location.
