Dear family of Gen, What a wonderful, thoughtful lady! Gen lived her great faith. We all experienced her love and concern. She accepted life with its ups and downs. We Sisters have lost a very dear friend. Sorry I am unable to say this to you personally. Sympathy & prayers. Sister Paulette

I will miss seeing Gen's smiling face and friendly greeting as we walked out of Holy Cross. Gen used to bowl with my mother way back when I was much younger. My Mom was 2 years older than her and died four years ago. Coincidentally, I am reading my Mom's journal from 1999 at this time, and last night's reading was about Jen Craanen calling her to ask if she was available to come bowl with her again. My Mom was 78 and Jen was 76 in 1999! What a sweet thing to read. May the memories of your wonderful Mom lighten your saddness at this time.

So sorry for the loss of your Mother, she was a wonderful lady and a joy to talk with. Always welcoming you with open arms. Her love for the simple things in life as the birds and growing beautiful gardens she also grew a beautiful family as her legacy. Will always see that chair by her garden waiting for her to add some tender love.
