Dean Jacques Obituary
Dean E. Jacques, 69, Green Bay, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born on March 30, 1944 in Green Bay to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Santas) Jacques. Dean served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Marilyn Suzanne Shatswell on June 6, 1970. She preceded him in death on January 26, 2000.
Dean enjoyed collecting and operating model trains. He was an avid reader and loved his Kindle app. He also liked to collect Coke and eagle memorabilia. Dean was a longtime member of Meadowbrook Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Deanna Belke (fiancé Johnny); a son, Dan (Alice) Jacques, all of Green Bay; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Greg All), Alec, Christopher, Jasmyne, Austin, Avery, Sophie and Jordaine; a great-granddaughter, Lila Marie; a brother, Darryl (Joanne) Jacques; a sister, Jane (Terry) Bies; a son-in-law, Dan (Lisa) Ducheny and a brother-in-law, JD Shatswell. He is further survived by four nieces, two nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne "JoJo" Jacques and two brothers, Dennis Jacques and Donald Jakeway.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, February 4 at Meadowbrook Church, 701 Hillcrest Heights, Howard, from 3:30 pm until the funeral service at 4:30 pm with Pastor Lee Endris officiating. Military honors will follow. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
