I will always treasure my memories of Joe. He treated me as if I were his son. No finer man could be found. I'm so glad he is at peace now. He will always live in our hearts.

Dear Family of Joseph Unrue,
I was sad to hear of Joe's passing, but I know he would be the first to tell all of you not to be sad.
I first meet Joe in 1992. He hired me to work security at the Haywood Mall. Why? I had no experience in security, but I was a single mom with lots of bills and needed a part time job to help with the expenses. I soon realized Joe was like another dad giving me advice and I seemed to become like a daughter in a way. I soon met his son Marshall and we became really good friends and our lives and families seemed to entertwine. It has been sometime since I have seen anyone in the family but I have often thought of each member and kept each of you in my prayers. I expecially pray for you as you go through this difficult lose, but can only rejoice as he will once again see my son who has gone before him. I pray that God give you strength, courage, and peace at this time.
Love,
Marie Helle
