News Death Notice

PRIDEMORE, Nancy Age 85, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1925 in Cranks Creek, Kentucky the daughter of William and Elizabeth (White) Griffin. She married Jack M. Pridemore on May 1, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky. She worked as a clerk in the shipping and receiving department of National Can and Craft and Beninghoffen Companies. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Millville Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. Nancy hobbies were cooking, sewing, gardening and reading. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Phyllis Liberti and husband John of Rockport, Texas; a son, Donald E. Pridemore of Hamilton; a sister, Polly Bloomer of Wallins Creek, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Michelle Roa and husband Dennis, Donald E. Pridemore and Brad Baldridge; four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Hardin Griffin; a sister, Margaret Pace and other brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton with Rev. Larry Uczion officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to your charity of choice.
