My condolences to the Gowrie family. Spence was a fixture in the Thimbles, competing summer Sundays at sailing races, and in later years, at the dock as captain of the ferry. He was always interested in how my family was. He is missed but his spirit sails on.

Hi Susie, Nancy & Carter:
What a great guy and gentleman, I'll always remember his rigid stance as he piloted the Ferry around the Islands.
