So sorry to hear of Arthur's passing. We have many fond memories of his visits to our home on Long Island. It was a pleasure to have had him be a part of our lives.

Dear Bill, Roger, and Nancy,
We were saddened to learn of your father's passing; however you are blessed in knowing that he is in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ. Your dad played a huge part in our lives as being a wonderful friend to my parents, Clint and Nellie Brelsford, he officiated at our marriage 47 years ago, baptized both of our daughters, and gave Carrie her first communion. We were able to visit him occasionally when he resided at Crosby Commons, and we are thankful to have known such a wonderful and dedicated priest and friend. May the memories you treasure bring you peace and serve as a source of strength in time to come.
Much love,
Fred and Sharon Callahan

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Although we were not a member of his church, I would see him periodically as I lived in the same neighborhood. He was truly a wonderful vicar and someone we always admired. May God's strength be with you and your yours.

My prayers and blessings to Archdeacon Monk. He had been appointed by the Bishop of Connecticut, one of the oriinally appointed Episcopal priest to the Anglican/ Roman Catholic Dialogue when I was the first Roman Catholic lay person appoointd by my Bishop, Walter Curtis. I was a Pastoral Associate in the Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, the first and long time, only woman on the Dialogue. Arthur was so very kind and thoughtful of my position and his gentle manner made me very comfortable and respected. He was instrumental in my being chosen as Chair for the Dialogue and participating in the Annual Pulpit Exchange. He was so very highly revered and respected on the A/RC Dialogue by both Roman Catholics and Episcopalians. He is in my prayer and fond memories. He is remembered as a truly a great church leader. We were so blesded in having known and prayed wth him.

Bill, Roger, and Nancy,
Your Dad and my family crossed paths many times over the years. I remember fondly our YPF days at Christ Church, Stratford. When I moved away after marriage, he turned up to baptize one of my children at Christ Church, Ansonia. Most recently, I would see him as part of my work at the Diocese of CT. He always asked about my parents and brothers-remembering everyone's name! That's a gift in itself. I am truly sorry for your loss, but am thankful that we all had him in our lives for such a long time.
Wishing you peace, Linda (Hulley) Walley
