Antoinette Ruggiero

RUGGIERO, Antoinette Antoinette (Ruggiero) Ruggiero, 92, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Samuel Ruggiero died Tuesday, March 25, 2008. She was born in Hartford February 26, 1916, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Grace (Violano) Ruggiero. Antoinette was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves her two sons Samuel Ruggiero, of Hartford, Robert Ruggiero, of Torrington and her three daughters Shirley Bonito and her husband Joseph, of Newington, Diane DiMauro and her husband Santo, of Cromwell, and Annette Citro and her husband Vincent, of Hartford; 10 grandchildren, Debbie, Michael, Lori, Vincent, Kim, James, Elizabeth, Robbie, Matthew, and Sammy and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her loving sister Jenny (Nonie) DiBenedetto and brother Joseph Ruggiero and his wife Ann, and her sister-in-laws Lucille Ruggiero, Millie Trovarelli, Doris Ruggiero, and brother-in-law Mickey Ruggiero. Besides her loving husband Samuel, Antoinette was predeceased by two sisters Carmela Perrone, and Angie Coia, and a brother Anthony Ruggiero. Antoinette's funeral service will be held Friday 9 a.m. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit.
