I met Mike in the 5th grade at the Northwest School. He was a powerful kid that was hard to bring down in football. Competitive as he was he was a respectful of his peers even then. He was one of the first guys to welcome me to the school.
Mike was there at all the parties in Junior High where our band, the Denim Blues played. He had a fine girlfriend and treated her like a queen. Peggy was a lucky girl to land a guy like Mike. I'm sure he was a good family man.
I last spoke with Mike at our 20th reunion. I lost track of Mike after that reunion but I'm sure he did well in all his endeavors win or lose.
I hope to meet him in heaven, Lord willing.

Thinking of all of you, and wishing you tears of true sadness and laughter of remembered joy.
