I am so angry these days with you, with me, with life in geneal - life's cruelties and complexities continue to win over me. But, what am I to do? I love you so much. My condolences to the family. I remember Ben from school in Burlington and he was always a great guy to be around. I always tell people a certain story about being on vacation in California of all places, and while visiting the zoo there, I ended up running into Ben who was vacationing at the same exact time as us. It was an incredible surprise to see him and I'll always remember hanging out with him that day and the non-stop laughter we shared. He will be missed.. RIP.

Carleen & Rob - Ben knew he had a friend in me for life. As I told him time and time again: You Will Never Walk Alone. Hopefully, with the pain and laughter you and I shared over the last few days, you know that you too will always have a friend in me. I am here for you. Benny, we will always be that "unbeatable team" that just could not be stopped. We'll jam out to Marley one day again and finish our Rob Ross painting. To The Hazard Family, There is nothing that can be said at this time to take away your sorrow. Ben spent lots of time with my son Joe when his brother Zak died 9+ years ago. Ben was a true friend when Joe needed it most. Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Footprints in the sand... and this is when I carried you. Hold on to God, he won't let go.
