Peter was an active, devoted parishioner of St. Gabriel Church in Windsor, CT where along with his wife Bea, spent many years in the choir performing during the holidays and at special events. Including Beatrice, his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his two children; daughter and son-in-law Dr. Diane Deresienski and Dr. Gregory Lewbart of Raleigh, NC; son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Deresienski of West Hartford, CT; two grandsons, Bretton and Blake Deresienski; his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Mark and Carol Deresienski of Narragansett, RI; many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, and his best canine friend "Mocha." He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Edward Griffin. Special thanks are given to all the staff at The Suffield House for the compassionate care they gave to Peter.

Dear Bea,
Clark emailed me the sad news of losing Pete. He was a good friend and always had kind words for everyone. Both of you were always a pleasure to see and spend time with at our many reunions. Class of '55 was and is a unique group, and Pete stood out. We'll all miss him.

Kindest regards to you and your family

Peter was a solid member of the class and seemed a good fit as president. As I learn about his life, I identify with much from beekeeping to 52 years of marriage. God's peace should cover the family.

Some of my best memories was when I lived next door to you on Hayden Station Rd. Pete became the big brother I never had and his friendship over the past 35 yrs has been a highlight of my life. Pete was one of the best people to ever grace this earth and he will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know him.
