TUREK, Joan (Nowicki)
Joan (Nowicki) Turek, 82 of West Hartford died at home Saturday, (March 23, 2013). She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Turek in 2009. Joan was a resident of West Hartford for most of her life, with her husband Charles Turek they owned and operated a restaurant and a real estate business specializing in restaurant sales.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be on Tuesday morning from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Directions: Exit 37 off I-854 take a right at the exit, 1 1/2 miles on your right. She was a beautiful lady Joan and my Mom (Bernice Barr) were very close at one time and as I young girl I always admired her style, her grace and her beautiful smile. We always had so much fun when she visited. For those you you who do not know me by my married name I am
