To the Hemphill family, I am so sorry for the loss of Gerald. When I worked at Farmington LIFE one of my most favorite stories to write was about Shady Grove Tourist Court. What wonderful people! Thank you for sharing yourselves with me. I am so sorry for you loss, but I am grateful I had the chance to meet Gerald and Vera and write the story.
