Just sitting here thinking about you and what a woman you were here on EARTH. Although, you have left because it wasn't tin your best interest to stay around your job here has been completed. Eventhough, I know you have left it still hurts and it is difficult for me to believe this is real. As we spoke on Thursday get some rest now we would be okay in time and we will look out for the guys. I know you were saying look at those special guys of mine looking good and holding on very well. They even stood up to give you a great mom tribute I know you are proud of them as you were feeling they weren't going to get through it. Giving praise and honor to GOD, won't HE do it!!

Giving honors to GOD for this time for us to reflect on such a great person my bestfriend and sister Pamela Shick.
Another tough one for me!!Okay Gary, I know I know yes it is going to be five hours I have lots to share and not enough time to get it all in besides who else am I going to share all of what Pam and I have shared over the years. I tried to tell you all beleive it or not I am really the quietiest of my siblings so I must truly consider you all my family.
On the serious side thou I am going to be keeping check on you all as I told her we would because that is what family do. I had the pleasure of speaking with Revernd Annie Pearl last Wednesday evening as I had reached out to a few ministers to no avail. I became more and more worried that no one heard my cry for prayer for Pam. But you already know who was on time. Thank you so much GOD, Reverend Annie Pearl, and Elder Sonya Green for sending them our way. Although, Elder Green's visit with Pam was very breif the Pam as we came to love and know always concerned about others rather than herself talked about the Elder's children and their well-being.
She and I would pray together and talk of GOD from time to time over the years and just naturally assumed we each had a relationship with GOD which is just what it is personal. I know that although, Pam's relationship with GOD was not of regular visits to church nor mine for several years now doesn't mean we didn't believe in GOD or have a personal relationship with HIM. Although, Elder Green prayed and fellowshipped with Pam I needed her to claim her salvation with me so I became very concerned and worried that she had not gotten saved.Today, I look to YOU LORD for the strength and blessings once again helping our family and friends to weather the storm as our hearts are very heavy. I have been up preparing to lay one of most dearest friend sisters' to rest. She lost her battle to the big C which is hitting many by leaps and bounds. However, she accepted YOU DEAR LORD as her LORD and SAVIOUR. She took hold of YOUR hand without fear on Saturday afternoon and walked into the EARTHLY KINGDOM with YOU at her side as she and I prayed for on Thursday evening. Pam sat straight up opened her eyes cleared her throat said amen kissed and hugged me acknowledging to me she believed she was saved just as Reverne Annie Pearl had confessed to me it would happen.
To my Shick family take it one day at a time it seems very dark right now, but the sun will shine to lift those smiles in time. Love you guys and I will be keeping check on you guys just as she wanted. Thank you Gary Sr. Gary Jr. and Mikie for sharing her with us especially me these last few weeks it meant a great deal. Pam, we love you and you will be missed greatly.

I'm a good friend of the Shick family when I was living in Bloomfield, CT. I've known Mrs. Shick as long as myself and Gary Jr. has been playing Bloomfield ball in middle school. I always remember her as a cool, down to earth, sweet woman. It's sad to hear that she has left us but she is in a better place right now. Myself and my family's condolences are here. Mrs. Shick will surely be missed but will never forgotten.
