To The Novarr Family ~
I lived next door to your Dad on Branford Street in Hartford. Your parents were such good neighbors and your Dad always had a kind word. When my Grandfather Sam Johnson passed a few years ago Mr. Novarr connected with us. I was sad to hear of his passing as I would have liked to have visited with him. I will never forget Mr. Novarr.
Prayers and Condolences to you.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father. I had the pleasure of knowing your father while working with him during my time with a former employer.
Leo always had a story, a joke or a witty retort - and always a gentleman.
May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Leo's passing. I visited he and Sylvia every time I returned to the area, where he would regale me with stories from Weaver to WWII and of course, the grandkids. Always a highlight of my trip. Memories of those visits and letters that he sent will always make me smile. Lisa Kannof

Dear Friends,
On behalf of all of your dad's comrades in the Sgt John L. Levitow Post 45 of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA, I offer our deepest condolences to you all on Leo's passing. He was a real mensch, and we honor his service to our country and community as a member of "The Greatest Generation" and beyond.
May his memory be for a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
