WASHINGTON, Marilyn (Glidden) Marilyn Washington (Glidden), 69, died Wednesday, (September 6, 2006) at her home in Pahrump, NV after a two year battle with Cancer. Marilyn was born and raised in Manchester, but spent a good portion of her life living in Bolton and then South Windsor, before moving to Pahramp, NV four years ago. Marilyn was a lifetime member of the Lions Club; 22 years spent with the Bolton Regional Lions Club. She is survived by her husband, Robert Washington; her three daughters, Marilyn Root, Rita Wong and Lori Glidden, five grandchildren, Jennifer Root, Jason Root, Melani Bickford, Melissa Wong and Noelle Crump and her great-grandson, Cyrus Bickford. She is also survived by five step children; nine step grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren, as well as many pseudo children, fellow Lions and longtime friends. Due to many years of involvement in the Bolton Community there are many people whom at one time in their life referred to Marilyn as "Mom G", she will be greatly missed. Please join us, per Marilyn's request, at a celebration of her life on Sunday, September 17th from 2-6 p.m. at Herrick Park on Hebron Road in Bolton. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 1480 East Calvada Blvd., Suite 900, Pahrump, NV 89048, Bolton Regional Lions Club or your favorite charity.
