Agnes Sheeley Obituary

CLINTON - Agnes N. Sheeley, 90, of Clinton died 5:30 a.m. Tuesday (June 7, 2011) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. There will be no services. Body will be cremated. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Memorials: donor's choice. Send condolences: www.calvertmemorial.com. Agnes was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Glencraig, Scotland, the daughter of Alexander N. and Jean Glencross Moffat. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star. She worked in the war effort in England in an airplane factory during World War II. After the war, she worked in England taking care of the Schelimini-ski family for several years. She was a retired seamstress. Surviving are her children, Lee (Barbara) Sheeley of Bethany; Jeanita (Edward) Huffman of Clinton; LaVonne (David) Weier of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren, Katie, Kim, Paul and Christina; seven great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
