Roberta M. Tepatti

SULLIVAN - Roberta M. Tepatti, 85, of Springfield, formerly of Sullivan, died 4:10 p.m. Sunday (September 2, 2007) in Oak Terrace Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Private family burial will be in the Robinson Cemetery, Pocahontas, Illinois, later that day. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan First United Methodist Church Foundation, the Sullivan First United Methodist Women, the Sullivan Community Education Foundation or the Sullivan Head Start Program. Condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net. Roberta was born August 17, 1922 in Greenville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert C. and Marie E. Broder Marti. She had worked for First Mid-Illinois Bank in Sullivan for many years. She had also worked at Kaiser Agricultural Chemicals in Sullivan and as a secretary at Morrisonville Elementary School and the Morrisonville United Methodist Church. Roberta was a member of the Sullivan First United Methodist Church and was very active in United Methodist Women. Roberta married Antone Tepatti of Pocahontas, Illinois on August 25, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1990. Surviving are her son, Bob Tepatti and his wife Eileen of Rochester, Illinois; brothers, Vesper Marti and his wife Virginia of Greenville, Illinois, Virgil Marti and his wife Shirley of St. Peters, Missouri; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
