DOROTHY "DOT" HALE

HALE DOROTHY "DOT" , age 86, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the daughter of the late H. Ford Gilmer and Bett Pierce Gilmer Puotinen and was a native of Miami, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hale. Mrs. Hale was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roan Mountain where she sang in the choir and served as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Mrs. Hale was the retired owner operator of Southwest Spray and Nursery in Miami, Florida. Services will be held in Elizabethton, Tennessee on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.
