To the Family & Friends of Gordon McKesson:
I have very fond memories of Gordon in my earlier years on the Department while assigned to the Director's Office and have had the pleasure of him to critique my writings. As will be noted by many of his peers and colleagues, he was the consummate writer/professional and a stickler regarding proper grammar, sentence structure and spelling. He would have been proud to know that I went on to be a pretty good writer myself having been published by Prentice Hall in the later part of my career. Thank you Gordon and my G-d rest your soul.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. McKesson during my tenure with the Miami-Dade County Police Department (formerly the Dade County Sheriff’s Office) in a variety of positions. He was the consummate professional who made the written work product emanating from the organization the best in the country. A true gentleman and scholar in every respect. May God bless him
