HARRIET ASSAEL Obituary

ASSAEL, HARRIET ROSALIND, better known as RICHIE, 84 years of age from Hollywood, FL passed away peacefully June 14, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Jacques Assael, loving mother of Carol (Bob) Kellert and Mitchell Assael. A cherished grandmother to Brian (Rachelle) Kellert, Stephanie (Dan) McKay, Jordan Assael and Ryan Assael. Great-Grand- children, Audrey Kellert, Lainey Kellert and Andrew McKay. A dear cousin of Gloria Berdick and adored niece of Yetta Richman. Richie was born in New York July 29, 1926 to the late Molly and Joseph Richman. Richie was active in The National Childrens Cardiac Hospital, serving as President and active member for many years. She had a smile to brighten up any darkness, a laugh that was very contagious but most of all, a heart of gold. With a special thanks and love to her caregivers, Grace Peterkin and Althea Gunning who took such wonderful care of her, became her friend and a part of our family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital @ Memorial Regional Hospital, Hollywood, FL. Services will be held at Levitt- Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N.W. 72nd Ave., Hollywood, FL on Friday, June 17th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. View this Guest Book at www.
