DeLores Violet Carr

God answered Mom's prayers and welcomed her HOME on April 28, 2011. After a quiet, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Thanks Mom for the great example.
DeLores was born to Augusta and Samuel Muller on May, 11, 1919 in Goodrich, ND. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1937. She married Jack W. Carr on December 31, 1937. They retired from Boeing on the same day in 1981. She volunteered at the Everett Senior Center for 30 years, was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church and the Everett Friendship Club.
Her faithful prayers, beautiful smile, quick but subtle sense of humor, HUGS and delicious cookies will be deeply missed by her children.
She is survived by her children, Rodney Carr (Nancy), of Yakima, WA, Dr. Alan Carr (Linda), of Bellevue, WA, Jacqueline Weitzel (Terry), of Arlington, WA and Gary Carr, of Everett; grandchildren, Wendy Linton (Steve), Daniel Weitzel, Jonathan Weitzel (Karlene) and Roger Carr (Breanne); 13 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandsons; sisters, Herta Manzo and LuCyle Seiler; sister-in-law, Mardell Muller; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack; grandson, David Carr; sister, Edna Hill; brother, Milton Muller.
We, your family, take hope and comfort in the promise "Absent from the body, Present with the Lord."
Heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at Warm Beach Senior Community. You are God's Angels here on earth. May God reward you richly for your tender care of Mom.
Memorial gifts may be sent to the American Heart Assoc.; or Parkinson's research.
No services will be held by her request. Graveside memorial in Grand Coulee, WA at later date.
