Vernon Fonk Obituary
Vernon L. Fonk
Before becoming an independent insurance agent in 1965, Vernon drove ambulance, sold Revlon Cosmetics, and marketed the Midwest territory for the Liggett Meyers Company. In 1975 he focused his agency's sales in the non-standard auto insurance business and founded the Special Risk Agents Association, an organization dedicated to assisting other non-standard insurance agents in the Puget Sound area.
Vernon leaves behind his wife, Jerroldine Fonk; sons, James and Dale Fonk; daughter, Rene Mulvaney; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Selma Fonk; father, Adolf Fonk; and daughter, Teresa Lynn Harvey.
A Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2006, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m., both held at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 - 5th Avenue S., Edmonds, (425) 771-1234.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in to Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, Washington.

VERN, You were a unique Man and a Local Legend, by Name..I feel privileged to have had the experience of Vern Fonk... the Man and I feel privileged to be a part of the Vern Fonk Business Family.. We will miss your laugh and the sound of your spoon on the glass....
