Jack W. Burtch of Venice, Florida died May 24, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born June 20, 1921 in Alexandria Bay, New York. He attended Clarkson College, Potsdam, New York. He served as an Army Air Force pilot in the Pacific Theater in World War II and in the Korean War.
He was president of the Ohio Galvanizing and Manufacturing Company, which was sold in 1961; president of Conservall, and retired as vice-president, public affairs, Wean United in 1984.
He was a past commander of American Legion Post 106, Niles, Ohio and Warren, Ohio Man of the Year 1977.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Burtch. They have two sons, Jack. W. Burtch, Jr. of Richmond, Virginia and Bruce W. Burtch of San Rafael, California; two grandsons, Anson and Douglas Burtch; two step-grandchildren Christie Kragel and Lisa Foreman, and ten great-grandchildren.
Donations may be given to the Salvation Army.

I am sorry for the loss of Jack Burtch. Losing a dear loved one is a very difficult experience. May the family find comfort in knowing that in the near future those who have died will be brought back to life to a paradise here on earth.
