She was my "go to" person when I had a question about plants or the Bay. She was always helpful and a great resource. I shall miss her terribly.

My deep sympathy to Annemarie's family and friends. It was a shock to hear of her death. I met her on so very many occasions from her Selby Gardens days to the present in her work for the county Extension, and I even bumped into her in Publix once in a while and we had pleasant chats. I will fondly remember her always as a wonderful speaker, educator, and inspiration for caring for our Earth.

Annemarie touched the hearts of the entire staff at Cooperative Extension. It was a blessing to work with her. Her love and compassion was felt far beyond the environmental community. She truly cared about others and had such a remarkablly kind spirit to share with everyone. Her courage, humility and devotion to serving her community will live inside of me forever. What a gift she was and still is to all who knew her.

Alan, I vividly recall when Dick & I met you and Annemarie for the first time as a couple; you were both so proud of each other. Since you both were film fans, we'd see you often at the Cinema. It was always such a pleasure talking with you. Being no stranger to loss & sadness, I extend to you my deepest sympathy. (Singular signature here since Dick has been gone over 3 years.)
