Joseph Scheuerman Obituary
Feb. 16, 1919 - May 22, 2016
Joseph Frederick Scheuerman, age 97, of Sarasota, FL, died Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was a retired Manager of Commonwealth Edison Electric Utility in Waukegan, IL, a Rotarian, a U.S. Army Calvary veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star during WWII, and the widower of the "Love of his Life" for sixty-one years, Lenore Bishop Scheuerman.
Mr. Scheuerman is survived by two daughters; Ruth Seeman of Sarasota, FL, and Dr. Mary de Chesnay of Atlanta, GA. His grandson, Matt Seaman; his brother Bob Scheurerman and his sister Lorraine Zemon both of Trenton, NJ.
He was predeceased by a son John R. Scheuerman.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be recited Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd at 11:00 AM, with burial in Crestview Memorial Park with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home.
