Mary Willard Obituary

FRANKLIN - Mary Lou Parks Willard passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Ogden, Utah, at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born March 18, 1935 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of James A. and Olivia Nielson Parks. She married George H. Willard. He preceded her in death.
She loved the outdoors. One of her favorite things to do was to take her little trailer up the canyons to go camping, fishing and hunting. She loved her needle work and her dogs.
She is survived by her six stepchildren, Clark H. (Susan) Willard of Canyonville, Ore., David G. (Margarete) Willard of Harrisville, Utah, Stephen J. Willard of Ogden, Utah, Gloria Williams of Oakley, Calif., James A. Goodyear, of Amarillo, Texas, and Victoria (Dave) Whalin, of Roy, Utah; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, John Parks, of Roy, Utah; and one sister, Lucille (Grant) Bybee, of South Ogden, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, four brothers, and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
