Peggy Madere Obituary
Peggy Poche Madere, 78, a native of Luling and resident of Paradis, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 in Luling.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Hahnville.
She is survived by her children, James L. Madere Jr. and wife, Shirley, and Monica Bourgeois; and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Madere Sr.; parents, Nolan and Lillian Donnaud Poche; and sister, Janyce Poche.
She was the owner and pharmacist at Paradis Drug Store for 41 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Monica and James, just remember Peggy was a person that help all, she was there for my mother and all she knew, her heart was a very large one to every one. Thank God for her life. Monica know that you now have a speical guardian angel watching over you now! We only knew her a short time in our lives but she surely made an impact on my family.
