Dorothy Bergeron Obituary
Dorothy, age 82 passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. She was a native of Choupic and a resident of Bayou Blue, La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue on Saturday, April 8, 2017; beginning at 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Elphege Bergeron; daughters, Marilyn Melancon and husband, Gerald, Donna Trahan, Kathy Cortez and husband, Ronald, Susan Dupre and husband Timmy; grandchildren, Justin and David Cortez, and Kimberly Trahan; great-grandchildren, Ibanez Cortez, Karson Paddie, and Kooper Saam; and brother, Percy Landry.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gladys Landry; daughter, Janet Bergeron; brother, Calvin Landry.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dorothy and her husband fell in love and started a beautiful family, she thoroughly enjoyed her time with her four daughters and was blessed with beautiful grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, reading, dancing, and listening to old-time country and gospel music.
