Joan Baker Obituary

Joan Baker went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2012. Born February 22, 1925 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Baker; survived by sister Sue Scroggins and husband Howell and sister in law, Shirley May and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great- great nephews and niece. Joan worked for Big Three Industries for 48 years before retiring and spending her latter years in Tomball, Texas . She was happiest whenever she was holding the newest baby in the family. "Noanie" was a loving daughter, wife, sister, and aunt who touched all with her gentleness and love. Many thanks to neighbor Cathy Evans for all the kindness she showed throughout the years. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, 10 am at Klein Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel located at 9714 FM 2920 Road, Tomball, Texas

Sorry to hear of the lost of Mrs. Baker. The Bible tells us “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.”. One of the principal ways to draw close to God is thorough prayer. Do not underestimate its value!
