Patricia, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you are going to miss Chris so much. We all are going to miss him terribly. He was such a wonderful and caring person. I know I have not spent much time with you; but the little bit of time I have spent with you, I have always enjoyed being around you and talking with you. You are such a special and caring person. Thank you so much for taking care of Aunt Mary all the times that you have. I truly hope that you will remain in all of our lives. Chris loved you for a reason; and we hope that you will continue to be a part of our family, no matter where your life takes you. You are such a beautiful person and will find another person who will love you very much. When you do, please still stay in our lives. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Please call me anytime you need or want to talk.

To the Steely/Elliott Family, I was very saddened to hear about the loss of Chris. I was glad to be able to reconnect with him last year when Danny moved back to Houston. We had the opportunity to relive some good ole memories. I went to school with Chris and remember him walking in class looking all cool with his special walk! He was definitely a cool guy. When school was out I remember all of us getting together. We went to Club Rio! Chris and Danny both could get the party started! Those boys sure can dance! I tried to get Chris to dance the last time I saw him but he just smiled and said that he was too old and didn't dance anymore. I found that hard to believe and kept saying, "Oh come on Chris just one quick move for old times sake"! He just smiled! Pat and the family my heart goes out to you during this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. It was good hearing all the people speak on Chris' behalf. God bless you all and know that Chris will be there to welcome you all when it is your time. Love, Francine

My family and I just want to give our deepest sympathies to our Aunt Mary and the rest of her and our family. Im going to miss Chris. I wasn't really close to him seeing as our daily lives didn't bring us together often, but he wasnt a man that is easily forgotten, and I know that I will never forget him. I will definitely never forget that he was one of the first people I danced with at my wedding as a new husband. To Aunt Mary and the rest of her immediate family: my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love,
Michael Guillen and family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Aunt Mary,Joe,Danny and Anthony,I know i haven't been around your family in a long time but I always thought of and remembered all the great times i had with your whole family and especially with Chris.I always had a place in my heart for him and I will always remember how special our time was together. My heart goes out to all of the family and to his daughter. I wish i had still kept in contact with Chris but i know he is in a better place and heaven has a new angel to watch over all of us.

Aunt Mary, Anthony, Danny, Joe, and Chrisalynn: My heart goes out to all of you right now. My heart, too, has a huge void in it right now. Our family gatherings and get-togethers will never be the same without Chris and his wonderful and happy personality and his beautiful smile. He is in a better place and will be happy to greet us when our time comes to enter the beautiful gates of heaven. I love each and every one of y'all very much. Together we will all get through this.

Chris, you will be missed so much that I can't even begin to tell you how much. Thank you so much for being in my life and making me smile. I love you so much.
