Mrs. Patti, Mr. Steve, and Ross, my prayers go out to you every day. I think of Clay constantly and miss him dearly. Clay brought together a group of people who would have never been friends without him. He brought an entire school back together and i can't wait to see him again and thank him for that. You raised an amazing child who i loved and respected. Thank you Clay Day for being such a big part of my life. Love you and miss you.

I live in New Middletown, Ohio and saw this tragedy unfold from one of my Facebook friend's wall reuesting prayer for Clay and I prayed along with her.
I am very far away, but his beautiful spirit has captured me. My heart breaks for your family and I continue to pray God heals your broken hearts.
He looked like he loved life and loved to make people laugh. I am so deeply sorry that this has happened.

Clay was so very at the center of that Rocky Cliff cul-de-sac that we still yearn for. Know that you have friends who love you beyond words up in Connecticut. We pray for you every day and know that you have Clay-clay forever watching over you. Remember how Emmy babied Clay (she was only 1 year his senior) even though he 'owned' her in all things athletic? He never seemed to mind--at least THAT much! He had such a gifted spirit and, above all, a sense of good fun. He LOVED playing the big Bro to Bridget. Patrick was awestruck by his energy and coordination. We all will keep you in our hearts, every day and our prayers every night. And we will be in touch very soon. We miss you.

Steve, Patti, Mimi and Baba pray every night over your and our loss. In some way we must move on but will life ever be back the way it was? No, but move on we must. We have Ross to think of. Clay will always be with us. That nothing can take away. I feel so inadequate when I see all the lives Clay touched in his 16 plus years. It makes me so sad....DAD.

The Davis Family, My prayers are with you. I did not know Clay. I learned of the accident through facebook from my friends Travis and Leslie Nollsch. I know and feel your pain. My only child/daughter went to be with the Lord via a car accident on July 6, 2008. Dee was a 2007 graduate of Cypress Creek High School. What has truly helped me is an organization called The Compassionate Friends of Northwest Houston. It's for family's who've lost children. We learn that "We need not walk alone". I know your pain is fresh, but if you would like more information regarding this organization please contact me. One thing you will learn is your Clay is not lost, you did not loose him, you know exactly where he is. He's with the Lord. God Bless you and your family.

I did not know Clay or the family, but am a parent of two recent LCHS graduates. When one of our own has experienced a horrific tragedy as this one, it impacts us all. The Lobo family is a close nit family, what affects one affects all. My sincere condolences to your family. I have heard and read all the wonderful things that the students at LC have done to honor your son. He has had a tremedous impact on so many. He will be a forever guardian angel of LC. May you find peace and healing in knowing that he was loved by so many.

I met Clay though my daughter Devin and Regan and the rest of his friends. Watching them in the past and especially over this last week shows how much he truly touched those around him. This has been a tough time for everyone and our prayers are with your family.
It has been said that death is not an end but only a transition. A transition from living in our presence to living in our hearts, minds and memories. There is no doubt that while Clay will be missed, he will continue to live there for many years to come.

clay you were amazing! its so hard to accept that youre gone. i remember meeting you back in elementary school. youve always been so nice to everybody. at that age, youre completely carefree and things like this never even cross your mind. you are the last person that this should have happend to. i will be thinking about you everyday for the rest of my life. im trying to find ways to make sense of this all, but i just cant. all i can say is that you were truly an angel, and will be missed dearly.

Clay; Ive always been one to hide my feelings, When I first found out you passed away I tried to hide it. But today really made me think about you and how much you impacted my life. Ive had alot of hard times and you were always there to make me happy. Our Prayers go out to the entire Davis family. Clay was such a joy to see grow through the years. I remember him in Kirby's kindergarten class with Ms. Bremer. I also recall Kirby mentioning that she could always count on Clay to play skilled soccer with her at recess at Copeland. And then there was capture the flag on the cul-de-sac's. What a blast they all had together. Heaven is a much brighter place with Clay Davis. God rest his soul.

I had the wonderful experience to work with Clay in reading at Aragon for two years. He was a very unique young man one that you just couldn't help but fall in love with. He is not in heaven with my son whom we lost at the age of 16. My husband and I know all to well the loss of a child. May god be with you and your family. My heart ached for you all as I sat on the Cy-Creek side at the volleyball game last night and watched as so many wonderful students showed how much they love and miss Clay. Since moving into Clay's neighborhood seven years ago, our family has come to know him as a great kid with a lot of energy and a contagious smile. He often came to our door to ask for our son Christopher to play capture the flag, play video games, or enjoy some time in our backyard pool. He was an engaging young man and always a delight to have around. Our daughter Catherine enjoyed Clay's friendship as a classmate at Langham. You cannot imagine how many lives Clay touched during his 17 years and how much he will be missed by his neighbors and friends. Iv known clay since we were little kids playing tee ball. its tragic that he had to leave us, But i know theres a party in heaven going on. I remember how competitive he was and times he would get mad a camp TbarM for loosing something. But he was allways quick to cheer up. He will be missed.

Our prayers go to the entire Davis family...it was so amazing to see so many friends of Clay's honoring him at last nights Langham Creek volleyball game. Our daughter, Carey Todd, taught one of Clay's classes, and is the Varsity Volleyball coach. She could not say enough wonderful things about Clay. You could feel the care and love for Clay with well more than a hundred of his friends chanting his name last night....to honor him and to inspire the team that also misses him so much.
