I had the good fortune to know Darren in high school and then ran into him at a convention in San Diego twenty years later. He looked almost exactly the same - but without his trademark glasses! In our brief catch up conversation between sets, I saw that he had grown up to be devoted to his family and with the zest for life and love of music that had always set him apart. He will be sorely missed.

Darren was a great friend and huge help to me while I was at Stewart Title. A tremendous musician who I had the good fortune of working and recording a couple of songs with on the Ed Maly Ed's Garage CD. I will miss you very much Darren.

Darren was a wonderful person and an expert in information technology. We had a lot of laughs when we worked closely together at Stewart and at the National Association of Realtors conventions. What a great talent on the piano as well. Hopefully he can enjoy his musical talent more now in the great beyond. My sympathies to his family.

Darren was one of those who touched more people than he probably knew. He was so full of life, many knew of him even if they didn't know him. But if he knew you, he wouldn't forget you. He would always greet me with a friendly hello and ask with interest on how things were going. Darren was a great man who will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends. God Bless.

I had the great pleasure of spending 4 days with Darren every year from 2000 until 2006 as we worked together at the NAR convention on behalf of Stewart Title. Darren always greeted me with a smile and a big hug. We worked hard and played hard, but the highlight of each year was when Darren serenaded us - whether it was in a classroom or at a piano bar. He was a wonderful person with a warm spirit and friendly word for everyone. I am sad to hear of his passing but so glad I knew him while he was among us.
