Raul Rodriguez Obituary
Raul "Roy" C. Rodriguez, 79, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2011. He was born on November 27, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Maria Castillo and Frank Rodriguez. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Harris County.
Roy's spirit and love will forever live on through his family. Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Beatriz Gomez Rodriguez, and daughter, Dolores Rodriguez. Roy is survived by his wife, Evangeline C. Rodriguez; sons, Roy Jr., Martin Anthony (Irma), Richard, David (Delfina), Roland Rodriguez, Sebastian Jr., Steven, Mark, Roland, and Douglas (Ada) Garcia; daughter, Diane (Jerry) Cantu; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carmen (Gilbert) Botello and Pauline Rodriguez
Visitation will be held on Thursday February 10, 2011, from 4-9 P.M., with a rosary being recited at 7 P.M. that evening, at Crespo Funeral Home ~ Navigation Chapel. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10 A.M., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Angie, Delfina, David, Roland, Yolanda, Steve and Roy, My Prayers go out to you ALL and your children, and to the Rest of the Family (I hope I didnt leave anyone out) Our Families have come and gone and with the Grace of God we somehow still find a way to keep in touch, I really wanted to go with Leslie to the Rosary, but I want you to all know you are in my Prayers.
