Gregory Smith

Gregory James Smith, 37 years old, of Houston, Texas passed away on April 12, 2013
Visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. April 19, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 20, 2013 at Corpus Christ Catholic Church 9900 Stella Link, Houston, Texas 77025. A luncheon will follow the service at Westwood Park, 4045 Lemac, Houston, Texas 77025.
Greg was born in Houston, Texas on September 24, 1975. He graduated from Bellaire High School in 1994. He was married to Andrea Schoen on December 30, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada; they were married for 7 years, but have been dating 7 years before they were married.
Greg worked as a closing shift supervisor of prepared foods at Whole Foods in Bellaire for 3 years. He enjoyed cooking on the grill, writing his thoughts, and playing with his son. He made sure everyone was okay, all the time. He was a shoulder to cry on, he had an open ear to listen, and his words of wisdom influenced many.
Greg is survived by his wife and little boy, Andrea and Rory Smith, Father in Law, Bob Schoen, Father, Jim and his wife, Bobby Jean Smith, Brother and Sister, Kirk Smith and Suzanne Marshall, Brother in Law, Daniel Schoen and his wife Tammy Schoen.
Greg is preceded in death by Grandfather and Grandmother Larry and Aurora Pico, Mother in Law, Edith Schoen, Uncle, Larry Pico Jr., Mother, Patricia Smith, and Brother, Mark Smith.
Memorial donations may be given to Greg's son College Fund. Donations can be sent to The Rory Smith Education Fund. A link has been posted on Face book.
