I'm completely heartbroken to be finding out about this just now. Marty and I met online in our youth and continued our friendship throughout our adulthood. The last time we spoke was about his daughter, Molli, being born. I lost touch with Marty during my time in the Army, and today when I searched for him, was completely overwhelmed with sadness when I found his obituary. Words cannot describe the immense amount of grief I feel right now. You never strayed far from my mind Marty. I will miss you for the rest of my days.
