Paul wore a lot of hats—husband, father, grandfather, farmer, banker, church member, community leader, neighbor, friend. I saw him as a strong man who loved his family and his land. He was loved and admired by the wide circle of people he touched during his long and productive life. Together, you created a strong family that has touched many more. I'm so glad that mine was one of them. Paul was a remarkable man, and he will be greatly missed. I hope the coming days will bring you rest, give you peace and help you draw strength from the caring hearts around you.

As a long time volunteer at Parkway Place, I have gotten to know many of the residents. Paul was so special to me, and to so many others. I called bingo today, and Paul was a topic of conversation. On behalf of those who cannot, please let me say that Paul was deeply loved and is truly missed.

Dear Paul and family,
David and I met "Grandpa" only a few times, but were always struck by his humor and good nature. He must have been a joy to be around. So sorry for your loss,

Riegler family, I really enjoyed listening to the stories last night. He loved helping people - he was so kind to my mom when my father passed away. I told a few of you that when I was at my mom's, my dogs escaped through a hole in the fence. He was there the next day to replace my mom's rotten fence posts. He always wanted to clean our her garage - he would come and throw everything away and when he left, she would drag most of it back into the garage. Your parents were wonderful people, and I have many fond memories of them. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Maureen Kuzik McCutchen

Our entire family thought of Paul as the de facto mayor of Parkway Place! And he always delighted our five grandchildren and was one of the reasons they so look forward to their visits there. His passing leaves a huge Paul-shaped hole in all our hearts. He is sorely missed. Our sympathies and deepest condolences..........

I met Paul recently when my Mother moved to Parkway Place. He had a great sense of humor and always offered me a soda. His passing will not only be a great loss to his family but to his many friends at Parkway Place. May God bless you all as you cherish the memories of your loved one.
