Herbert Jaeger, born February 14, 1929 in Ottenhofen, Germany, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 in Houston, Texas at the age of 86.
Pop, a loving husband and father, is survived by four children, Gretli and Gusti Haumueller, Hans and Linda Jaeger, Walter and Rose Jaeger, Rodney and Anita Jaeger; five grandchildren, Roger Haumueller, Philipp and Diana Haumueller, Darrell and Vicky Jaeger, Douglas Jaeger, Dustin and Kim Jaeger, Steven Jaeger and Leslie Jaeger and seven great grandchildren, Erich Jaeger, Shelby Jaeger, Katherine Jaeger, Hunter Jaeger, Alex Jaeger, Kyla Jaeger, and Reese Jaeger.
Family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Earthman Funerals, 8303 Katy Frwy., Houston, 77024 where Pop's funeral service will be in the Chapel on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with graveside services at Memorial Oaks Cemetery immediately following. Kevin Pigg, Minister of Crossbridge Christian Church will preside over services.

I just found out I reside in Florida for the last 50 years,Pop and Margaret were very close to my heart,I worked with Pop at the Doctors club, he was a great teacher and friend, and Margret was a sweet heart ,truly two very special people I will keep their memories in my heart forever,Rest in Peace Always in my heart Rolf Gosswiler

Pop - I miss you and Margaret, and now mom has passed July 24, 2016, and hopefully ya'll are together again enjoying each other's company and having coffee and cookies on Heaven's patio.

Herbert was a great friend, father and grandfather. I will miss him dearly. But as I have known that Herbert lived for his wife Margaret and now they are back together. They are both our guardian angels. My prayers for peace, love and togetherness are for his family. I know that Herbert and Margaret would want everyone to remember them and their lives with peace, love and togetherness. He is with Margaret again and they are loving each other as they have always loved each other, their family and all of their friends. I have had the enjoyment and pleasure to know Herbert and Margaret from Spring Branch Christian Church and Crossbridge Christian Church.

I couldn't believe it when I heard this news. I will me Herbert dearly. I have known him since I was a little kid at Spring Branch Christian Church and now Crossbridge Christian Church. He was a wonderful man of God and a great friend to have. He went over and beyond every year do stuff for the Church whether it was Thanksgiving helping make turkeys or simply making his wonderful deserts for the youth auction on Go Texan Sunday. Such a great man and I will dearly miss him and our conversations at Church every Sunday with him and Margaret. He is back with Margaret and I know they are so joyful they are back together right now. My prayers go to the family for love, strength and peace as a great man, father, grandfather and friend to everyone has left us.
