Rodewald, Bradley W.

Bradley W. Rodewald, age 42, of Manitowoc, WI, died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 after a year-long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Bradley was born May 1, 1971 in Manitowoc son of William L. Rodewald and Cheryl Scroggins. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1989 from Lincoln High School. He was employed at Federal Mogul Company.

Brad is survived by his daughter Kiersten; the mother of his child, Jenna Rodewald, and her daughters Callie Preiss (special friend Tyler Gass) and Hannah Lesperance; parents, William (Margaret) Rodewald, Manitowoc, WI; Cheryl (KC) Campbell, Fort Walton Beach, FL; siblings: Tami Moreau (special friend Randy Womack); Travis (Cassie), Joshua (Kristine), Jennifer (fiancé Mike Johnson) and Tyler Rodewald (special friend Amanda Reichwaldt); niece, Nicole Moreau; step-Grandmothers, Adelaide Ording and Jeanette Scroggins; special Great Aunt, Delores Krancus; and special friend, Laura Moilanen and son Sam. Uncles, aunts, cousins and many other relatives and friends also survive. Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Caroline Rodewald; maternal grandparents, Lucille Scroggins and Shelly Scroggins; and step-Grandfather, John Ording.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Tom Pankow will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Vincent's in Green Bay, Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago for their care and compassion for Brad.

My prayers and thoughts are with the entire Rodewald families. I am so sorry for your loss. Kiersten and Nicole, remember that God loves you and feels your pain too. I am praying for both of you. Jenna and Tami...you are in my prayers also. You are an amazing family and have been such a great support to Brad. Kiersten.. your father was so very proud of you! I could tell that just from talking with him the times I saw him at church. He loved you so much.
