Kim Shippy Obituary

Kim Shippy passed away Oct. 24, 2010. She was born Aug. 26, 1967, in Nampa, to John and Judith Pywell. She was raised and educated in Nampa, graduating from Nampa High School in 1985. Kim married Willie Shippy Oct. 2, 2004, and they resided in Nampa.
She was very involved in bowling, softball, and was an avid fan of Boise State football.
She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Judith and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Willie Shippy, father John Pywell Sr., brother John Pywell Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special people she considered family.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel followed by a graveside service at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Nampa Funeral Home. There will be a reception at Idaho Pizza Company in Meridian following the services on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, Kim's favorite charity is the Judith Pywell Scholarship Fund: Elk's Rehab, 600 N. Robbins Road, Boise, ID 83702. An online guest book may be signed at www.nampafuneralhome.com
