Bernice Marjorie Schroeder, 85, of Nampa, Idaho, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on July 5, 2013.
Bernice was born in Thorndale, Texas to Emil and Rosa (Krieg) Schroeder on September 28, 1927. She went to high school at Thorndale High. She married Lambert Henry Schroeder on December 21, 1947 in Thorndale, Texas. They celebrated over 65 years of marriage and both eventually retired in Nampa, Idaho, to be closer to their son.
Bernice is survived by her husband Lambert Henry Schroeder; her brother Norris Schroeder of Thorndale, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Phil and Margie Schroeder of Kuna, Idaho; three grandchildren Terrah McCracken and her husband Dean of Parker, Colorado, Joshua Schroeder of Boise, Idaho, and Tiffany Schroeder of Kuna, Idaho; and one very special great grandson Kade McCracken.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Bernice loved to cook and truly enjoyed the times she spent with her son and grandchildren. Bernice always lived through an unwavering faith in God.
She has finished her course. She has left a fine example of how to live by her words and her actions. Now she can rest in peace. She has now come to the time for which she lived. This is not the end, but the beginning. Our comfort lies in the truth...."Blessed are the dead who died in the Lord from henceforth."

Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ross Shaver officiating located at 404 Nectarine Street, Nampa, Idaho. Viewing will be held prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 15862 Indiana Avenue, Caldwell, Idaho.
