Patty was the best teacher I ever had. She was my inspiration when I was growing up in Yellowpine. She went out of her way to make the girls feel special. She taught me how to sew (helped me sew my first bell-bottoms)and she always encouraged me to follow my dreams. She knew I collected decorated soaps, so she bought me the coolest "Santa" soaps for Christmas one year. She also gave me a ballerina jewelry box, which I still have and I think of her often. Rest in peace, dear Patty. We all love and miss you very much. Kristy (Gillihan) Scaraglino

So much of who I am came from what Patty and everyone in Atlanta taught me so very long ago. I am forever grateful for the blessing of having been a child in Patty's care. Care to the whole family, Lisa

Patty, You made such an impression on us. Even though we haven't seen you for years, you and Jim have been part of our lives since the times we spent together in late 60s and early 70s. Love from Diane & Dave Logue
