Brian Prunty Obituary

Brian D. Prunty
age 58 of Jackson Township, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at his residence. Brian was born on May 27, 1954 in Massillon the son of the late Harold and Virginia (Addy) Prunty. Brian was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1972 graduate of Washington High School. He worked as a tool and die maker for many years. Brian had a love for music and played in various bands throughout his life. He was also a member at River Tree Christian Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children and their spouses, Melissa (John) Prunty-Pennock and Carianne (Gary) Baird; his grandchildren, Hailee, Chloe, and Jack; and his brother and sister, Harold (Ann) Prunty and Gayle (Tom) Thompson.
A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may gather at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to cover expenses. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.

Brian will always be in our hearts and memories as a friend and as a brother. Brian is in peaceful place with our loving father. Brian and I were close in our teen years, as well as our adult life. We played in the band, The Shades of Tyme. He will be greatly missed.
